Mursalski tea honey is an extremely rare and valuable mountain product. Bees gather it from the blossoms of the protected Mursalski tea, which grows in ecologically clean areas at an altitude of over 1,000 meters (mainly in the Rhodope Mountains). Due to the specific harvesting conditions, this honey is often classified as a herbal or honeydew-herbal blend, possessing an amber color, a specific herbal aroma, and a slightly astringent yet pleasant aftertaste.
Main health benefits
The strength of this honey lies in its exceptionally high concentration of antioxidants, flavonoids, and trace elements typical of the medicinal plant:
* Powerful immune booster: Contains antioxidants that neutralize free radicals and increase the body's resistance against viral and bacterial infections.
* Respiratory support: Has a pronounced anti-inflammatory and expectorant effect, making it an excellent remedy for bronchitis, asthma symptoms, and persistent coughs.
* Detoxifying effect: Supports the cleansing of the body from toxins and heavy metals while improving liver and kidney function.
* Cardiovascular health: Helps regulate blood pressure and improves blood circulation, protecting blood vessels from plaque formation.
* Antiseptic action: Effective for inflammations in the oral cavity and throat, acting soothingly on the mucous membranes.
How to use
To extract maximum benefit from the medicinal qualities of Mursalski tea honey:
* Preventive intake: 1 tablespoon daily (for children – 1 teaspoon), taken on an empty stomach in the morning for energy and immune support.
* For colds: 1 teaspoon of honey dissolved in a cup of warm (not hot!) Mursalski tea acts synergistically and accelerates recovery.
* Temperature regime: Never add honey to liquids with a temperature above 40°C to preserve biologically active substances and enzymes.
* For faster absorption: Can be taken directly by holding it under the tongue for about a minute before swallowing.
